I think joe is getting his legs under him. He made great progress in the last two days. He crossed into North Carolina today, 10 days from his start. I believe he is spending the night in Muskrat Creek Shelter tonight. Included is a picture of the shelter and a picture that Joe sent me of a tree at the NC/GA state line. ReplyDeleteThat tree at the North Carolina boarder was one beautiful tree! I think they should make it the State Tree! I'm so very proud of you. I miss you so much and I wish I were with you. Ron and I had lunch at Bojangles but it just was not the same without you. Please take care of your self. Eve and I are looking forward to seeing you somewhere in Carolina or Virginia around May 7th I suppose. We'll talk about this when we get closer to the date. I love you son.
